Breaking Barriers is an initiative aimed at providing a specially tailored, accessible studio experience to individuals or groups that may otherwise encounter obstacles accessing a professional studio.
Targeted at Individuals living with disability and mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression, Breaking Barriers aims to overcome these obstacles by bringing the studio to you. Providing a safe, comfortable, accessible and affordable studio experience.
Services include:
demo/single sessions: A day session working with our producer culminating in a recorded song by the end of the session - This can be an original, cover or even something from scratch
lessons for musicians: a day session working with our producer to learn the fundamentals of writing music and getting it ready for the studio
lessons for engineers: a day session working with our producer to learn the fundamentals of recording and mixing music
powered by creative Victoria and Regional arts Victoria, mix on the move offers its services at a discounted rate to any individual that is;

Whether you are an established instrumentalist/songwriter or you’ve only sung in the shower, MOTM can help. Our producers are skilled multi-instrumentalist’s with years of songwriting experience.
We can co-write and track a demo or a single for release or even record a cover of your favourite song to help you realise your skillset.

All sessions can be tailored towards teaching and equipping you with the skills to be self-sufficient, produce, write and record your own music and to work with other artists.

If you are a respite home, school or care-centre, we can bring the studio and services to you. Our group sessions teach skills in writing music, engineering & producing and industry knowledge. How to release music, find work and manage expectations when working in the music industry.
We offer group sessions that include training of staff and clients. Music is a valuable asset to anyones life but can also be an emotional one. Having the right skills and mindset can make all the difference.
